Stress Management

Chronic stress, exhaustion, inner tension — evidence-based support for lasting relief and renewed clarity.

When stress becomes a burden

Stress is a natural, biologically purposeful response to challenge. It becomes problematic when it turns chronic — when recovery periods shrink, tension no longer fades, and the signs of mental and physical exhaustion multiply. Sleep disruption, irritability, difficulty concentrating, loss of motivation, or a persistent sense of being out of control are all common warning signals. When left unaddressed, chronic stress can affect sleep, concentration, emotional resilience and the body's ability to recover — and is therefore often ignored for too long.

Areas of support

In stress management counselling, we work together on:

  • Work-related stress — overwhelm, pressure, workplace conflict
  • Burnout prevention — recognising early warning signs and taking action
  • Work-life balance — setting boundaries, reprioritising
  • Chronic exhaustion — understanding root causes, rebuilding resources
  • Physical stress symptoms — tension headaches, sleep disturbances, restlessness
  • Building resilience — developing long-term psychological robustness

My approach

Stress management is not about performing less — it is about navigating demanding phases more efficiently, more healthily, and with greater inner stability. I work in a solution-focused way, drawing on methods from cognitive-behavioural therapy, the salutogenic model and coaching. Together we identify which stressors are most prominent in your life, which coping strategies you already use — and where there are concrete opportunities for change. No generic advice, but individual work grounded in your specific situation. All sessions take place online — location-independent, completely confidential, with no waiting room.

When is counselling right for you?

You don't need a diagnosis or a breakdown to seek support. If you feel under constant pressure, find it difficult to switch off, or notice that your usual level of performance is costing you more and more — now is the right time. The earlier you act, the better. Preventive support is simpler, more effective and more sustainable than crisis intervention.

Recognise stress before it stops you.

1-hour session. Completely confidential — concrete support, not generic advice.
