Psychological counselling supports people with everyday challenges, stress, life decisions and personal development — without diagnosing or treating mental illness. Psychotherapy, by contrast, is a medically regulated treatment for diagnosed mental disorders, carried out by licensed therapists or psychiatrists.
Counselling is suitable for anyone who feels stuck, overwhelmed or is going through a difficult period — whether that involves burnout, relationship difficulties, anxiety, grief or a major life transition. No formal diagnosis is required.
Yes, I offer counselling in both German and English — to the same professional standard.
The primary format is remote counselling via secure video call — flexible, discreet and available worldwide. In individual cases I also offer in-person home visits in the Meerbusch, Neuss and Düsseldorf area. Please contact me directly if you would prefer a personal appointment.
The 60-minute consultation normally takes place via video call. In the Meerbusch, Neuss and Düsseldorf area, an in-person home visit is also possible on request. We get to know each other, you describe your situation and we discuss together whether and how I can support you.
Usually within a few days. Simply book directly via Calendly — you will see available slots in real time.
A remote session (60 minutes via video) costs €80. A home visit in the Meerbusch, Neuss and Düsseldorf area (60 minutes, no travel costs) costs €120. All details can be found on the pricing page.

As an EAP Counsellor, I have worked internationally via the MindFi platform, supporting professionals and managers from a wide range of countries and industries with issues ranging from personal crises and burnout prevention to work-life balance.
Stress management counselling is for people under chronic pressure, struggling to switch off, or noticing early signs of burnout. We work on identifying specific stressors, building practical coping strategies, setting boundaries in work and personal life, and developing long-term resilience — in a solution-focused, individual way, not generic advice.
